giant fits show into
2021 schedule
» HAFFNER MURAT HAS
just announced it will be
exhibiting at the FIT Show
2021, which will be held
25-27 May 2021 at the NEC
Birmingham. Dave Thomas,
Managing Director of Haffner
Murat, said: “I’m delighted
to be announcing we’ll have
a presence at FIT 2021. Like
everyone in the industry, I was
disappointed when FIT 2020
was postponed, but in hindsight
it was the right decision. I’m
already looking forward to
welcoming people to our stand
next year and showing them
what Haffner Murat has to
offer.”
FIT Show 2021 is the UK’s
only dedicated event for the
window, door, flat glass and
components market. It attracts
systems houses, fabricators,
installers, architects and specifiers
who come to browse the latest
products, machinery and
software. It also offers exceptional
networking opportunities and
a full programme of CIPDapproved
learning.
Haffner Murat supplies
and services a wide range of
automation machinery from
Haffner, Italmac and Fom
Industrie. A selection of the
machines will be on display at its
stand at FIT 2021, all of which
drive quality and efficiency across
the factory floor.
Headline fabrication
machinery includes the SMR-5
PVC-U Welder, which welds
four squares in less than a minute
and five H welds in less than four
minutes. The FA 537 Heritage
Double Sided End Milling
Machine mills two joints in one
operation, dramatically speeding
up the production process. And
for the aluminium sector, the
AL220/70 Aluminium Profile
Machining Centre carries out
all sawing, milling, drilling
and marking operations on
aluminium profiles.
Dave concluded: “I’m looking
forward to showing people
what our machines have to offer
working in the new normal,
as well as some exciting new
advances. The FIT Show is a
vital opportunity to showcase
innovation and product
development. After a difficult
year for everyone this year, I have
no doubt FIT 2021 will be the
biggest and best yet.”

NEW PARTS AND CONSUMABLES CATALOGUE
& ENGINEERING TEAM ‘BACK IN ACTION’
» TO COINCIDE WITH THE RETURN
to work for many, Emmegi (UK) has just
published its own spare parts and consumables
catalogue to make it easier for customers to
order the right products for their machinery
and production areas. Emmegi (UK) is also
reassuring customers that its engineering team
is back in action, ready to help them get their
manufacturing operations up and running
again.
Service and Operations Manager Wayne
Hunter says that he doesn’t anticipate there
being any issues when machines are turned
back on, but that the team is on hand to
help anyone who encounters any kind of
problem.
He says: “We’re answering as many
questions as we can on the phone, and we
still have all our remote resources in place so
that we can log in and see customers’ machine
set-ups. However, our engineering team are
very much available to make service, plus
customers might decide that this is a good
time to get their machines serviced anyway.
We recruited an additional engineer at the
start of the lockdown to look after customers
in South Wales and the South West, bringing
our team up to seven across the UK and
Ireland.”
Meanwhile, the 22-page catalogue includes
everything from saw blades, router cutters and
counterblocks to oils, pneumatic equipment
and hand tools, as well as Emmegi’s popular
range of trolleys, tables and assembly benches.
Many of the items are held in stock at Emmegi
(UK)’s Coventry warehouse or are available on
fast lead times via Emmegi in Italy.
Machine specific spare parts in the catalogue
are clearly marked so that customers can easily
identify the right part for their particular
machine, and there are part numbers, sizes and
prices listed for every item included.
Wayne added: “Choosing the right parts,
tools and consumables can really make a
difference to the performance of any machine
and the overall quality of the output, so it’s
certainly a false economy to try and cut corners.
We want to encourage all of our customers to
buy genuine parts from us and we hope this
smart, simple guide will help them do just that.”
