Less than ¼ of CLDA Members are donating to the Advocacy Fund . However , this advocacy fund sponsors almost 100 % of all government affairs activities CLDA undertakes . Most recently , CLDA used advocacy fund donations to draft two amicus briefs – one for the National Labor Relations Board and one for the U . S . Supreme Court . We continue to work on all fronts , including judicial , to defend CLDA members and their right to have independent contractors and to have arbitration agreements in place . Without the advocacy fund , CLDA would not have had a voice and would not have been able to comment on behalf of the entire logistics and delivery industry .
