Moving Forward
Conference participants left the 2023 Final Mile Forum with new business ; new ideas ; new connections with other carriers ; an expanded understanding of the factors and trends that will impact their business and inside knowledge of the products and services that will help their businesses thrive .
They were already looking forward to the 2024 Final Mile Forum on February 14-16 , 2024 , at Caesar ’ s Palace in Las Vegas .
In a post-conference survey , 95 % said they would recommend the CLDA Final Mile Forum to a friend or colleague . Most ( 88 %) said they made new business contacts at the 2023 FMF and 77 % were planning to attend the 2024 Final Mile Forum & Expo .
Jocelyn Quintanilha ’ s experience was typical . The founder of Night and Day Logistics sought out a meeting with another conference participant which led to a new piece of business . She came to the Final Mile Forum hoping to meet someone from a specific company . Towards the end of the meeting , they connected . “ I saw the man from the company I was looking for across the room ,” she said . “ I introduced myself and he suggested we sit down . We hit it off . Turns out he ’ s looking for someone in our area and on Monday [ two days after the conference ] we will be getting together to sign documents !”

The CLDA makes it easy and comfortable for new attendees . We were guided into conversations and introduced to various shippers , couriers , and vendors . [ I would ] highly recommend [ it ] for gaining knowledge of the industry , learning challenges other companies are facing and creating new partnerships .
The educational sessions [ about ] IC issues were excellent , worth the price and travel alone . Add the additional educational sessions , networking , and vendor meetings for a great FMF !
