Turf Supreme has a dry, shivered, metallic, mottled, dark
brown-to-black surface at cone 6 to
cone 10 reduction. The dry surface
can be broken away where it has
separated from the clay body to
show a beautiful dark brown-toblack gloss hiding beneath. At cone
6 oxidation, it has a very stable,
metallic brown gloss surface.

★ SAFETY NOTE: Fertilizers,
like materials found in most glazes,
may contain potentially harmful
ingredients to people, kilns, electrical
elements, or the environment. Some
fertilizers may contain ingredients
that can interact with other glazed
and unglazed ware fired at the same
time, yielding either good or bad firing results...so beware! First examine
ingredients carefully and test fire all
recipes separately to establish safe,
reliable results. ■
