the government to implement its assurances and thus played its role of reneging the strike call in favor of the BJP’s, NDA government, the INTUC chief Sanjeeva Reddy too shown his true nature, by announcing on Aug.29 that “if the government can at the earliest accede to at least two of our demands-relating to the revision of the minimum wage and doing away with cap on bonus- we are willing to rethink our stand”.
