In Commemoration of Comrade Lenin’ s birth day and 100 years of Russian Socialist Revolution the Jharkand State Committee of CPI( ML) has organized a two day program in Ranchi on April 22 and 23 of 2017. On the first day, the topic,“ THE CHALLENGES OF INDIAN COMMUNIST MOVEMENT” was discussed. Those who are working as Communist Organisations and who believe in Communism were invited to take part in the discussion. The CPI( M), CPI( ML) Liberation and CPI( ML) ND have promised to attend, but could not send their representatives. All those who came have expressed their views. K. D. Singh, the Jharkand State Secretary of CPI has commended the move to organize a discussion of this kind. He said: The issue is sought to be discussed within the frame of either parliamentary or armed struggle path. The need is to discuss what can be an alternative path. R. K. Singh, the Jharkand State Secretary of Nava Janavadi Lok Manch has said, unity is not possible without resolving the ideological questions. D. C. Gohai, the Jharkand State Secretary of CPI( ML)-PCC said, they too had orgaised a discussion of this kind earlier, but it was not successful. Yet, there is a need to continue the discussion. There is a need for all of us to put up an united fight against the danger of communal fascism. Vasista Tiwari, the Jharkand State Secretary of CPI( ML) RF spoke about the need to unitedly fight against the growing imperialist attacks. The Jharkand

State Secretary of SUCI( Communist) said, the question is one of deciding who are our friends and enemies. Many CPI( ML) groups do not consider the big bourgeoisie, who, in reality, are playing a decisive role in the state. Com. Arvind Kumar Sinha, a Central leader of CPI( ML) said that this view is based on a wrong impression. The CPI( ML) views the Indian big bourgeoisie as the Comprador of imperialism. So, it places the comprador bourgeoisie in the category of enemies. Com. Subodh Mitra, Siya Sharan Sharma and Shambhu Mahato of CPI( ML) too have presented their views. All those who took part in the discussion felt the need of continuing the discussion. The next discussion is scheduled to take place on June 5 th, 2017 at the office of SUCI( Communist).
On April 23, 2017, the centenary of Russian Socialist Revolution was celebrated. It was participated by 150 people from different parts of Jharkand. 55 people representing the Hool Jharkand Kranti Dal led by Com. Babu Dhan have come to the programme from Santal Paragana. Kashi Nath Prajapati and Shyam Kishore – worker comrades from Jamshedpur – have sung inspiring revolutionary songs. Com. Siya Sharan Sharma has conducted the programme. Com. Shambhu Mahato, Com. Arvind Kumar Sinha and Com. Subodh Mitra have addressed the meeting. Com. Shambhu Mahato said that Jharkand where the centenary of Russian Socialist Revolution is being celebrated has a long tradition of struggle against imperialism. As Jharkand is a big treasury of rich natural wealth, it is also faced with more sever imperialist attack. As the class division is less among the adivasis as compared to the general masses of people, the acceptability of socialism can be relatively easier here. Com. Arvind Kumar Sinha has said that the bourgeois intellectuals cannot realize their fond dream of seeing socialism historically coming to an end. The world people will not agree to live under the capitalist system for ever. Today, again, imperialism is deep in an all round crisis. It is faced with ever intensifying opposition and struggle from the world people. Comrade has thrown the light in detail on the significance and achievements of Russian Socialist Revolution. Com. Subodh Mitra has focused on how in the post – Russian Socialist Revolution period, the imperialists and their agents inside the Communist Party in Russia hatched the conspiracies to influence the situation and their attempts were successfully foiled by the people under the guidance and leadership of Lenin and Stalin. But with departure of Stalin and under the leadership of Khrushchev this struggle had faced a serious setback and Russia was put on the road of capitalist restoration Com. Siya Sharan Sharma said that the revolution in Russia was victorious because a Bolshevik – type of Party has come up there and lied the revolution. The Indian revolution cannot be victoriously completed without building such a party in India.
