The Carlos Rosario School partners with public schools in Washington , DC to provide tuition-free English classes to parents . Students learn basic English grammar , speaking , and listening skills , as well as the skills and resources to support their children ’ s academic success . Classes are held at the following locations :

ESL Through the Arts
ESL Through the Arts ( levels 2-4 ) Location : Harvard Street Campus
Students in this class gain the general reading , writing , listening , and numeracy skills through project-based learning in the Arts including painting , movement , drama and song . Field trips to museums , galleries , theaters , etc ., allow students to use their English out of the classroom and to explore new arts spaces .

Intermediate Level English Classes
ESL 4 and 5 Health Location : Harvard Street Campus
Through this course , students learn how to use the healthcare system by living a healthy lifestyle , talking to doctors , and exploring jobs in that field . Students gain reading , writing , listening , speaking , and grammar skills appropriate to their level .
