Part-Time Classes
Citizenship
Location: Harvard Street Campus
Students learn about U. S. history and government, along with citizens’ rights and
responsibilities, and how to apply for citizenship and preparing for the exam.
Requirements:
- Eligible for ESL 3 or higher (unless student already applied to take the citizenship exam)
- Advising session
ServSafe® in Spanish
Location: Harvard Street Campus
This two-month program is for adults with experience working in commercial kitchens:
restaurants, hotels, or catering services. This certification class helps students obtain a
food handling manager’s credential with the DC Department of Health.
Requirements:
- Spanish reading level of 5th grade or higher
- SUPERA test score of 4.6 or higher
