AUDIT FINDINGS: This is a new site that the client requested us to add to their portfolio and we collected the historical invoices from the client on 19 July 2013. As part of our audit we verify the monthly costing from the metering to the final charges inclusive of VAT for errors of a financial interpretative and/or clerical nature. ors
Over-Charge: We found over-charges amounting to ± 340.83as a result of clerical errors made by Council for charges charges ±R that are not consistent with that of the current By By-law. They are for the following months: ing Aug’2012 Dec Feb’2013 March May June R 42.36 R102.69 R134.23 R 17.96 R 32.71 R 10.88
We will investigate this with Council and revert back on the progress thereof in due course.
