2nd Annual Clarence Run for Reading
Lace up your running shoes and get ready for the 2 nd annual Clarence Run for Reading 5k and 1K Fun Run and Walk! The race will once again be held on August 3, 2013, the first Saturday of the month, at 8am. Registration information can be found at www. roadrunner. coachbails. com. Racers may register on-site the morning of the race, for a registration fee of $ 25.
Registration will begin at 6am, lasting until 7:45am at the Clarence Park Shelter. T- shirts and refreshments will be provided to all racers. All proceeds benefit the construction of the new library in Clarence!

Four positions on the Clarence city council will be up for reelection in November this year. The terms of Mayor Mike Blake, and Councilmen Jeric Armstrong, Levi VanOort and Bart Miller will all be expiring December 31, 2013.
Citizens of Clarence who are 18 years or older, a citizen of the United States and are residents of Clarence, may

file a petition to be placed on the ballot for any of these seats. Petitioners may not be convicted felons, currently judged incompetent to vote by a court or claim the right to vote in any other place.
