Zybell Library and Technology Center
Did you note the name change? Yes, your library has now become a technology center. Recently through the use of grants they received 4 new computers. That makes a total of eleven computers in the library, with several reserved for use exclusively by the librarians. Sandi is busy moving items to accommodate these new computers. She anticipates a busy summer as children come to the library to play games and hang out.
The library board is working on the distribution of space in a new library. Certainly there will be fewer books but the number of e-readers and perhaps computers will continue to increase. The library’ s core mission will remain as it was 70 years ago when our library was formed by the Women’ s Wednesday Literary Club. The library is a great equalizer, available to everyone, regardless of creed, color or status. Have you made your donation or your pledge to the Library Building Fund?
Recent Memorial Gifts have been received by the Library Building Committee in memory of Mike Rouse and Ruth L. Rix. Thank you for these gifts.
