Media across Europe
As air pollution becomes a hot topic across Europe, our team have been
working with local, national and international media
Our work and expertise has been recognised by a
number of media outlets and organisations in the past
few months.
In January, Prof Enda Hayes was interviewed for the
Global Cycling Network YouTube channel. The channel
has over 1.7 million subscribers across the world, and
over 90,000 people have already watched the episode
on “How Toxic is City Cycling?” where Prof Hayes was
interviewed.
We were delighted to be selected as a case study for
the World Health Organisation (WHO) Europe’s High
Level Conference on Health Equity in June this year.
The WHO team visited our partners in Sosnowiec,
Poland to make a video showcasing our impact and are
publishing a case study about the aims and methods of
the project more broadly.
And finally, our colleague Dr Jo Barnes was interviewed
by UK national Channel 4 News for Clean Air Day on
20th June. We look forward to even more coverage
over the next year as we release more findings.
