ClairCity Skylines is live In April, we launched the ClairCity Skylines game in Bristol with support from local and national organisations The ClairCity Skylines game for iOS and Android devices was launched in Bristol in April 2018 to great excitement. Local media, politicians and students from UWE Bristol were invited to the launch event on Friday April 13th, with events throughout the spring at transport hubs, city festivals, local libraries and more. Over 600 players have already had a go in the Bristol region, with over 10,000 policy decisions made within the game so far. All of this data forms part of our understanding of resident preferences for a clean air future. With the same look and feel, the game will be transported into the local language with local landmarks to personalise play for each city. Once all six cities have played, we will be comparing the differences to understand more about variations in air pollution solutions for different city profiles as well as giving bespoke analysis of each locations’ preferred choices.
