Trinomics B.V. (Project Coordinator, Netherlands) Urban air pollution in Europe has hit the headlines
multiple times since our last newletter. In the past few
months, the Netherlands saw farmer protests descend
on the Hague over new air pollution legislation, a Polish
town has been battling with thick smog emitted from
a nearby coalmine and Bristol has declared a Climate
Emergency in response to pressure from Extinction
Rebellion.

It is rather timely, then, that our results from our
cities emissions modelling and engagement techniques
are about to be released! Our Policy Pack is being
finalised and our engagement packs for communities
and scientists are well underway. Stay tuned for their
release early next year.
2020 presents a great opportunity for us to capitalise
on this recent coverage and show what can and should
be done for a future with clean air. These last few
months will be crucial for dissemination: bringing our
findings to citizens, policy makers and stakeholders
and looking ahead to ask the question: what’s next for
a future with clean air?
