Unpaid Work Making a Difference
From clearing ground to helping improve school playgrounds, there are Unpaid Work squads working
throughout Clackmannanshire.
Previously known as Community
Service, Unpaid Work squad routinely
complete tasks and projects which
benefit the local community. Managed
by the Council’s Community Justice
Service the work is unpaid, demanding
and enables offenders to make indirect
reparation for their crimes within their
local community.
Whilst the very nature of this
intervention is punitive, a further
objective of unpaid work placements
is to encourage offenders to learn
and acquire skills to improve thei
