CKV
REFLECTION
PAPER
After
two
years
of
visiting
musea,
enjoying
musicals
or
watching
performances,
I’ve
finally
come
to
the
end
of
Arts
and
Culture.
Therefore,
in
this
last
reflection
I’m
going
to
look
back
on
these
two
years
and
ask
myself
the
question
whether
I
learned
something
from
it.
In
year
4,
I
think
Arts
and
Culture
was
totally
different
than
in
year
5.
First
of
all,
in
the
lessons
we
watched
strange
movies
all
the
time.
Most
of
the
time,
nobody
even
knew
what
the
movie
was
about.
Secondly,
the
assignments
were
quite
different
as
well
as
the
marking
of
the
CA’s.
In
year
4,
we
started
off
by
making
an
art
biography,
in
which
we
had
to
show
a
three
top-‐3’s
of
three
different
forms
of
art.
Here,
I
chose
literature,
photography
and
paintings.
When
I
was
making
this,
I
had
no
idea
what
we
were
doing,
but
know
I
understand
why
we
had
to
make
this.
I
think
the
idea
of
beginning
and
ending
a
subject
in
such
a
way
is
very
creative
and
educative.
Also
the
different
assignments
we
had
to
do
like
making
the
documentary
and
creating
a
short
movie
were
very
nice,
as
we
learned
many
different
techniques.
Also
the
fact
that
we
had
to
write
a
CA
about
many
different
forms
of
art,
forced
us
to
visit
theatres
we’d
normally
avoid,
for
example
opera.
I
think
arts
and
culture
made
me
experience
these
kinds
of
things
that
I
would
not
have
experienced
otherwise.
I
enjoyed
the
opera
quite
much,
but
I
don’t
think
I’d
do
it
again.
In
year
five,
we
had
to
create
an
animation
of
a
Greek
myth
and
again,
we
learned
many
different
kinds
of
techniques
of
presentation
forms
we
could
use.
Also
four
the
assignment
‘four
seasons’,
we
were
forced
to
think
in
a
very
creative
way,
because
the
assignment
had
almost
no
limits.
Furthermore
the
project
about
Fluxus
taught
us
things
we
normally
wouldn’t
have
bothered
about.
We
also
learned
how
to
make
a
presentation
lively
and
how
to
use
many
different
forms
of
presentation.
Arts
and
Culture
allowed
me
to
experience
different
forms
of
art.
However,
I
don’t
think
my
perception
of
art
has
changed
in
any
way.
I
realized
how
tough
it
is
to
create
for
example
a
ballet
or
an
opera
and
I
learned
about
the
process
behind
it,
but
my
perception
didn’t
change.
I
appreciate
arts
like
I
did
before,
but
I
didn’t
start
to
appreciate
it
more.
However,
I
did
learn
how
to
express
my
opinion
better
than
in
the
beginning.
I
think
this
process
can
also
be
seen
in
the
CA’s
I
made,
as
for
the
first
one,
I
didn’t
give
my
opinion
at
all,
whereas
for
the
last
CA
I
wrote
a
whole
page
about
what
I
thought
about
it.
Throughout
the
two
years
I’ve
seen
how
to
express
and
how
to
form
opinions
about
something
like
a
painting
or
a
ballet.
Looking
back,
I
was
quite
surprised
about
the
ballet,
because
I
really
enjoyed
it
and
I
didn’t
expect
it
at
first.
This
was
also
the
case
with
the
opera.
I
really
liked
the
combination
of
ballet
and
opera,
but
because
we
didn’t
know
the
storyline,
I
didn’t
know
what
the
whole
story
was
about.
But
most
of
the
times,
the
facial
expressions
of
the
actors
told
the
audience
many
things.
However,
I
was
quite
disappointed
by
the
classical
music.
Normally,
I
do
like
listening
to
it,
or
at
least
I
won’t
turn
it
off
when
it’s
on,
but
when
watching
the
orchestra,
I
felt
quite
disappointed.
It
wasn’t
as
lively
as
I
thought
it
would
be
and
I
felt
no
connection
at
all.
So
all
in
all,
Arts
and
Culture
taught
me
how
to
form
opinions,
made
me
appreciate
new
forms
of
arts
like
ballet
and
opera,
but
didn’t
change
my
perception
of
art
at
all.
But
I
think
they
were
two
educative
years
in
which
most
of
the
time,
I
didn’t
realize
I
was
learning
something,
but
looking
back
I
do
realize
now!
