THE CIVIL RIGHTS MOVEMENT IN AMERICA...

is considered one of the most important turning points of history and society in general in the 20th century. In today’s modern society, racial discrimination is socially unacceptable and downright inhumane. But less than a century ago, racial discrimination was normalized through the means of racial segregation, where black people take aren’t able to access the privileges that their nation has promised to them just for the color of their skin. This happened in what we know now as one of the most progressive and powerful nations in the world, the United States of America.
