Q. What message would you like to
give to the aspiring future engineers in
Hydropower Development?
There is a high potential for hydropower in our
country with large market coverage for ongoing
(under construction) hydropower projects (more
than 200 in number) and more projects at planning
phase (300-400 in number). Currently, hydropower
engineers having 4-5 years of work experience
have high demand on average. So, working in the
hydropower sector has great scope in Nepal.

Q. Would you like to impart any message
for the general public?
Every individual should contribute towards the
development of Nepal rather than just depending
upon a single individual. A righteous decision needs
to be made while choosing the right person for
leading the development works. Nepal has a great
future ahead in the energy sector and hydropower
is the only source as an economic driver which can
uplift the economic status of the country in the long
run.
We have planned to end problems like load shedding
in the upcoming days. Please keep providing the
support for effi cient utilization of energy with no
wastage.
