CIVIL INSIGHT 2018 STUDENTS’ SECTION 57 CONCLUSION Despite many challenges and hurdles, there is no dispute in having a viable and sustainable railway connectivity within and outside the country for a rapid and sustainable economic growth with its strong backward and forward effect. It is but natural that a country like Nepal needs to seek international assistance in many fronts which would be possible by minimizing the overall risk, that is country risk as a combination of sovereign risk, political risk, policy risk, foreign exchange risk, and so on. With this backdrop, Nepal needs a short to long term vision and mission to better rail connectivity. Moreover, the country needs to prioritize the rail development in line with the energy potentiality to achieve a sustainable and feasible growth. For this, a political consensus enabling a permanent policy approach is a must, if railway development is to be prioritized. BIBLIOGRAPHY Railway. (n.d.).
