Whilst filming my TV show
and travelling internationally
for shoots and events it's
important that whilst flying I
get as much sleep as possible
and look well rested on arrival
(because I'm usually straight to
work).
This
is
especially
important if you are flying on an overnight
flight. So with that been said I have got
my hand luggage packing down to a fine
art, to enable me to have a comfortable
and sleep-ful flight.
Carry on case!
I always travel with a carry on piece of
luggage, no matter how short the flight.
For sure there are some essentials you
will need that you don't want to pack
into your check in luggage. For example,
camera, lap top and a few beauty
essentials.
I love my Louis Vuitton carry on, for sure
its expensive but in my opinion it's a
timeless investment.
Music to my ears.
No
matter
how
good
inflight
entertainment is on the plane I always
make sure I have my own music and
movies to hand. Prior to my flight I always
download an album, film and tv series to
make sure i have enough entertainment,
especially for those long haul flights.
Having good head phones or ear phones
is essential. My favourite earphones at
the moment are in rose gold, they are
really light and don't hurt my ears if I
have been wearing them a while.
It's also important to make sure all your
electronics are fully charged before
flying. Nobody likes a dying battery.
Just to be safe also take a fully charged
portable charger too!!!
Sleep kit!
In order to sleep I have a sleep kit which
I always pack with me. This consists of
an eye mask, ear plugs (if you have sat
next to a crying baby on a flight you will
understand why these are an essential)
and a pashmina or scarf.
I know a lot of these are provided on
flights but I like to have my home
comforts with me to be able to relax on
the flight that little bit easier. Silk eye
mask and cashmere blanket is a must too.
