It’s time for Africa
Summer vacations have started for a lot of people in Kuwait so
it’s a good time to visit new places. The same happens in the
fashion world. The past few seasons gave us the opportunity
to wear the most creative ethnically inspired pieces, like the
kimono jackets we rocked last summer and the super comfy
ponchos inspired by traditional Latin American residents.
This summer the hot place to visit and for fashion inspiration
is Africa. On their Spring/Summer 2016 runways, Kenzo and
Valentino proved (among other designers) that ethnicity can be
recreated into seriously beautiful wear .
Burnt yellow, lush prints and soft
embellishments (feathers, frills and/or
fringes) can help you get that hot African
vibe everyone is talking about. Hint: If your
style is more simple, then opt for typical
African accessories with your everyday
outfit for a cool twist. Such a fun mix!
