Like last year, about half of the residents 
feel that they are getting their money’s 
worth for their tax dollars. Results for 
this measure declined significantly in 
2018 from a fairly steady historical trend. 
The majority of residents continue to 
prefer to keep taxes and services about 
where they are. Only 11% would prefer 
to raise taxes and increase services, 
though this percentage increased 
significantly compared to last year.  
Primary sources of information about 
the City of Arlington remain the internet, 
TV, and newspaper. The City of Arlington 
website and Facebook page, along with 
internet news services, are the top 
sources of online information.
