Rating of “providing citizen access or input to government” has increased
slightly over 2005 and significantly increased from 2000.
• Arlington residents continue to feel the need for improvement in the city providing
citizen access and input to city government.
The city’s effort to keep the public informed is also perceived positively.
• Eighty percent of Arlington residents feel that the City keeps them informed.
• However, except for the Cowboy stadium project and the water conservation
campaign, the levels of being informed at least somewhat about various city projects
and campaigns appear to be moderate at about 50% or lower.
