Tax Rate Vs. City Services
As always, and not surprisingly, few Arlington residents say they would be “very willing”
to see either an increase in property tax rates or a decrease in city services.
Receptiveness to a tax increase appears to be even lower in 2002, however, as a
significant decline was seen in willingness to increase property tax rates, whether the
purpose is to increase city services or to maintain city services.
