Methodology
● An online survey was conducted among 2,941 Arlington residents aged 18 and older .
● Survey invitations were sent via email and mail to randomly selected Arlington residents .
• The purpose of restricting the survey to invited residents is to ensure that only Arlington residents complete the survey and that no more than one person per household completes the survey .
• Email invitations provided a direct link to the survey and were sent by the City .
• Mailed invitations were postcards that asked residents to visit the survey website . Decision Analyst , an independent marketing research firm , managed the postcard printing and mailing .
• As a security measure , participants had to enter their email addresses or personal passwords ( printed on the postcards ) before accessing the survey .
● Interviews were conducted between December 15 , 2023 , and January 28 , 2024 .
● Data was collected , analyzed , and reported by Decision Analyst .
