Paul: Yes, no actually I was genie in the lamp in Wimbledon, well I looked like a Smurf, I was painted bright blue! SW: So you are the Fairy Godfather, tell us about your character? Paul: Well usually the Fairy Godmother's are quite old and dithery, always going ‘ooo where's me wand’, well mines not, he is efficient, he is a wicked fairy that has been reformed, he is good but with that edge. He keeps his magic wand in a violin case - like the Godfather. SW: It’s usually the fairy godmother; did you choose it to be the fairy godfather? Paul: Well yeah, its equal opportunities now and these fairy god mothers have had it their own way for far too long ha-ha, and they are usually dithery, none of that with me, he is highly efficient, he is part of the fairy godfathers union, so he knows what he is doing! He will be standing up for Cinderella and keeping a watchful eye. SW: Will any of your animals be joining you on stage? Paul: I might bring Olga up, but I'm not sure how
