A Message From Parks and Recreation Dear Neighbors, A new school year is quickly approaching and the weather doesn’t feel like Fall, but we know Autumn is beginning to surround us! The Parks and Recreation staff is very excited about offering events and classes for YOU! The season begins with our last summer concert on Friday, September 4th in the newly renovated amphitheater, watching Tarzan at the Family Dive-In Movie Night in the Crown Valley Pool, Fall Flicks in the amphitheater, Community Document Shredding Event at City Hall, to the youth showing off their football skills at the NFL Punt, Pass & Kick Competition or one can enjoy the 3rd Annual Senior Expo and the popular Fall Crafts Faire. As the season creeps closer to Halloween, those looking for something a little more on the daring side, can walk the Haunted Trails also known as Gallows Bend. This very SCARY experience has become an annual Laguna Niguel tradition. Another fall tradition is the Oktoberfest…take the 30 mile swim challenge the month of October. This year, the City and the Chamber encourage you to support our local restaurants in the Discover the Flavors of Laguna Niguel. This Fall, there is a little something for everyone at Laguna Niguel Parks and Recreation. Give us a call or “fall” in and see what we can do for you. Parks Make Life Better…It’s a Promise!
