Strategic Plan Highlight
The City has prioritized Quality Education for All Residents as a key strategic goal in the annual Strategic Plan . In order to best support education , the City Council last spring hosted representatives from St . Lucie Public Schools , area charter schools , the Early Learning Coalition and Children ’ s Services Council of St . Lucie County to present updates and asked them how the City can better support their critical work . Every participant reiterated a request to partner with the City on outreach to inform residents of the educational and support service opportunities available in the community . Since that time , the Communications Department has increased its promotion of important education-related information and focused on education in the most recent episodes of PSL Living and The Agenda .
