Drive-Thru Tree Giveaway
KPSLB will be partnering with the Botanical Gardens , Master Gardeners and the UF / IFAS Extension Office on Sept . 18 . Trees will be distributed on a first-come , first-served basis . Trees include mango , avocado , pomegranate , gumbo limbo , green buttonwood , royal poinciana and red maple . City of Port St . Lucie residents may receive one free tree per household ( IDs required ) while supplies last . The event rain or shine ).

After receiving a tree , participants can visit the gardens and speak with Master Gardeners . UF / IFAS Extension Office will also be available to provide planting instructions . The Botanical Gardens will be sponsoring a Scavenger Hunt ( ages 6-11 ) during the event .

The City of Port St . Lucie is giving away an assorted variety of trees . This popular event is a drive-thru and trees will be given away on a first-come , first-served basis to City of Port St . Lucie residents , while supplies last . IDs are required .
In memory of family and friends we ' ve lost to COVID-19 , residents can choose to plant their free tree in their honor . Send names to kpslb @ cityofpsl . com .
