WEBSITE
REVISION
City leaders realize that Port St. Lucie’s
website is typically the first place residents
and visitors will go when they are looking
for information. The City’s goal is to ensure
the website is not only informative, but also
easy to navigate.
During the past few years, it became clear
that the City of Port St. Lucie had outgrown
its old website format. In 2017, staff
undertook the challenge of transforming it
into a beautiful, easy-to-use site befitting a
CITY OF PORT ST. LUCIE
City of more than 185,000 residents.
In November 2017, the City soft launched the
new website. The redesign and navigation was
based on extensive research and analytics
on user preference, how well it would serve
mobile users and comply with accessibility
standards, as well as ease of navigation. Insights
gained from this analysis and user feedback
empowered the City’s Communications team
to make strategic, data-driven decisions on the
website’s design and implementation.
