IPCC Reports:
climate is changing,
but we?
A
United Nations report on climate
change just released, concludes that
there may still be some time margin for
limiting global warming to prevent an
increase of about 2° C degrees in the
atmosphere, which could avoid the worst
effects on climate change. But to get good
results extraordinary adjustments to our
current energy infrastructure we’ve to make:
we should focus efforts, energies and
timing much faster than we are doing right
now. This, in all probability, would require
the use a controversial and unproven
technology for the greenhouse gases
extraction from the atmosphere.
In recent months a new report, the third
in the series, has been issued by the
Intergovernmental Panel on Climate
Change of the United Nations. The first
of these, validated by scientific truth the
current climate change; the second one,
investigated the effects of this change
