MAKE YOUR OWN
Knitted Body Wash Mitt
Diana Peacock shows us how to make this easy and useful little project ...
This is a great project for beginners and gives you a great product at the end , perfect for homemade gifts . The value cotton yarn I use for this can be found in most knitting shops and online , see below for online stockists .
It is slightly coarser than more expensive cotton thread , but this makes it an ideal yarn for this project as it really massages the body . This yarn is also great for making crochet items , such as coasters , place mats and doilies .
Have a go at this and you will see what a super body massager and wash mitt this makes , good for children and adults .

Fold the mitt over and sew the side seams . Thread the elastic through the lower edge of the mitt , use sufficient elastic to allow it to fit comfortably around the wrist but still keep in place whilst being used . Tie off the two ends of the elastic and trim .
You can use any DK weight cotton yarn , but make sure it is 100 % cotton as it works better with the shower gel or soap .
