Sweet Chilli Sauce

You can make this sauce as hot or as mild as you wish. It is simple and really, really tasty. Give it a try!

This Sweet Chilli Sauce recipe is tremendous – medium hot – but you decide how hot you want it to be. It’s a great way to use up the chilli from the greenhouse. It freezes and lasts about 3 weeks in the fridge.

It’s great for pouring on food, but equally good for cooking.

65 g white granulated sugar

3/4 tsp salt

300 g chopped tomatoes

150 g chilli of your choice

2 cloves garlic

Method

Step 1

Step 4

Transfer to a food processor and blend until you are satisfied with the consistency.

Step 5

Bottle and keep sealed in the fridge.
