Broad Bean ‘Express’

An aptly named variety, super fast growing, early maturing and producing many well-filled pods approximately 20cm (8") long, each  containing 5 or 6 plump, greenish white seeds of very good flavour. RHS Award of Garden Merit winner.

Beetroot ‘Albina Verduna’

http://www.suttons.co.uk

A pure white, fairly smooth round heirloom beet from Holland. Its super-sweet white flesh is unusual and tasty and the greens are also good to eat. This beet is so sweet it can be used for making sugar, and they’re great for kids. Plus there’s no staining or mess when cooking!

Courgette ‘Carmino F1’

http://www.suttons.co.uk

Extremely early with deep green, cylindrical fruits 15cm (6") or more in length. Recommended for deep freezing. Harvest June-October.

A very early variety with good mildew resistance. Tarmino will allow you to keep picking a huge quantity of fruit throughout the summer. I like to pick them when they are small, slice in half and sauté in a little butter.
