Douye The Artist

After two successful and well received classic R&B CDs, singer Douye' is on a career path that has taken an unexpected but ultimately logical turn. Douye' (pronounced Doe-Yay) has reemerged as a very talented jazz singer on her impressive New album "Daddy said so". It may seem this is a radical change but as Douye explains, it is actually a return to her roots.

Jo Sallins

Jo Sallins is one of thew most respected, sought after and creative musicians in the New England area if not in the world. He is not only a master at his craft but, to witness Jo live is a testimony of his true genius. The complexity of his jazz progression arrangements ,while playing the piano and bass guitar at the same time, almost seems to defy all senses of reason and logic. Jo's mastery of both the drums and percussions are just as compelling.

Jo Sallins began playing drums in grade school at the age of 9. Jo credits his first drumming instructor and mentor with the positive direction his life has taken. Drumming focused Jo and gave him the purpose, commitment and dedication necessary to succeed in all his endeavors. These skills are not unique to the study of music, but rather to your success in every area of life. Jo’s philosophy – Give away your talent. Share your joy and talent. Encourage and support others to find their talent, whatever that may be. His debut project is called "War And Peace" that exemplifies the meaning of the message is in the music.
