Warren "Addis" Smith is a native singer/songwriter from the U.S. Virgin Islands. He started his musical career on the island of St. John. After finding success in the Virgin Islands, Addis moved to the main land to take his career to the next level by joining the band New Horizons. As a solo artist, Addis has shared the stage with artists like Jimmy Cliff, Burning Spear, Toots, Ziggy and Stephen Marley, Black Uhuru, Junior Reed and many other artists throughout his career.

Addis has create his own unique sounds by blending the islands calypso, soca and reggae beats with American rock, hip hop and R&B.

The Addis Revolution was formed in the Spring of 2012 with founding members Warren “Addis” Smith and Vic Rosario. This project was a result from a collaboration found on Addis’s 3rd solo album “No Compromise”, which featured Vic Rosario playing lead and rhythm guitar on several tracks. The album gained great reviews upon its release and also garnered 3 Grammy Award Ballot considerations during this time.

Vic Rosario is a native guitarist/songwriter/producer from the Springfield, Massachusetts area and is also associated with several Grammy/Grammy Nominations under his belt. Vic has been a long time member of the ASCAP association and is also associated with the American Federation of Musicians Union. Vic has worked with legendary artists like Tony Bennett, Stevie Wonder, Carlos Santana, B.B. King and many other legends in the music business. Vic has also shared the stage with artists like Alicia Keys, John Legend, Norah Jones, Lady Gaga and many other popular artists throughout his career. Vic has earned a Bachelor’s degree in Music from Westfield State University and a Master’s degree in Music from New York University. In 2013, Vic formed his own music production company named V3 Music Productions.

Presently, The Addis Revolution has just signed with the awardwinning music firm Big Noise. Big Noise is a music firm that helps artists advance in their career and development. They have worked with Christina Aguilera, The Beach Boys, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Chicago, Katharine McPhee, Dionne Warwick and now the The Addis Revolution. The Addis Revolution also signed a publishing deal with Tate Music Group.

The Addis Revolution live experience is a party that's been waiting to bust loose. Their rockin' originals as well as their heart felt, sensational renditions of the late great Bob Marley always takes the crowd on a musical journey that brings everyone together in a spiritually magic way.

Last year The Addis Revolution was recognized as a viable, up and coming, independent recording artist by the Grammy nomination board.
