Natalie Redd is one of the hottest, new local, R&B recording artists on the music scene right now. She had a stellar year in 2016 with her debut EP entitled “It Is What It Is”. The lead single, “Get Away” earned Red the prestigious Best R&B Song of The Year by independent music authority, Akademia Music Awards.
She credits her success to producer/musician Jarreau Pitts of Pitts Campaign Music for pushing her to reach her fullest potential. Redd performed her latest release for the EP, that is getting a lot of attention called “Liberty”, at FOCUS TV studios and explained that “Liberty” is a song of empowerment. “It’s a song saying that you know what, I’m finally free. I ‘m finally able to just be me”.
