The third issue to discuss is the way in which rich people have made such an amount of money. Many have got their fortune by developing services that the society consumes, and it´s possible to say that without consumers, there would be no one to buy the product, so rich people, somehow, have a kind of “debt” to the society where they live.
To conclude, are we really our own masters in the society we live? By choosing someone we agree with to represent us, are we free enough? What definitely makes these questions dfficult to answer is that we live in societies where we have representatives who were chosen by us and decide for us many of the things we can do or not do; so we should be free to choose who makes our living decisions.
