Far from the city turmoil
I live in Martinez; it is a suburb a few kilometers from Capital Federal. Here, there is Unicenter Shopping Center, where many people go to buy things or go to the cinema, there is Bernardino Rivadavia library where lots of shows and art lessons are held and also there is Plaza 9 de Julio. At night, you can see more stars in the sky than in Capital Federal.
Yesterday, I stepped out of my house and when I shut the door behind me, I could choose to go left or right. If I chose left, I could only walk one block because there is a dead end, so I decided to go right. I started walking and I could hear the birds singing, smell the perfume of jasmines and feel the warmth of the sun. My neighborhood is a very quiet place.
After some blocks towered by big houses, I arrived to Hipólito Irigoyen Avenue. There is a bakery store in the corner. I love to pass near it and smell the sweet bread. Close by, there is the Casa de La Cultural of
Martinez, where I take drawing lessons. I walked a little bit further and got to Plaza 9 de Julio. There
