Most graffiti paintings are criticized because sometimes
they damage private properties. However, graffiti can turn a city into a canvas of color.
Sprays are contaminants, however, there are different ways of doing graffiti and some of them are eco-friendly. Street art has been improving during the last ten years. That is the reason why the methods for doing graffiti have varied. One of the methods is using dirty walls on which an artist paints and creates an image with the different layers of paint accumulated on a wall. In other words, it is “painting” without sprays.
Some artists use eco-friendly products to paint graffiti without damaging the environment. For example, some artists use organic materials to create their own sprays. These sprays are made of: fruits with pigments, moss and other natural products.
In conclusion, graffiti can be found all around cities, and some artists do not respect private properties. There are many ways of doing it, like stencil and wall painting but there are also eco-friendly artists that do graffiti without contaminating.
