We have watched the film “In the Name of the Father” directed by Jim Sheridan that is about the conflict between England and the Irish IRA. We have also read the short story “The Sniper” written by Liam O´Flaherty and we have decided to write a letter by the main character to his mom, telling her about her son´s death. This letter could be placed at the end of the short story.
