Human rights at war

Rationale

After watching the film In The Name Of The Father (1994) by Jim Sheridan, and having a debate in class, our group discussed the theme in the film: violation of human rights, and we related it with similar cases in which prisoners were taken as scapegoats in Argentine recent history, and the story of the book Amor y Anarquia / <“Love and Anarchy”>, recently read by most of the group members. Here comes our reflection.

According to the definition human rights are instruments given to every man and woman to help them to attain other mayor rights. There is no difference of ethnicity, region, language, religion, political opinions, or any other kind of discrimination. Even so it is not uncommon to see how the people who are supposed to ensure these rights are the ones who violate them the most.

If we want to speak about violation of human rights, first we should ask ourselves if everybody knows
