This assignment consists of two (2) sections: a written project
plan and a PowerPoint presentation. You must submit the two (2)
sections as separate files for the completion of this
assignment. Label each file name according to the section of the
assignment it is written for.
Section 1: Written Project Plan
Imagine you are a software engineer working on a fixed budget
and you are tasked to develop a Web-based student registration
system. This Web-based system allows students to register for
classes, authenticate their credentials, and select classes for which
they are eligible to register. It also registers the students, prints a
confirmation receipt, and prepares a registration invoice. You
have been asked to provide senior management with a detailed
summary, activity graph, and project plan of how you plan to
execute the project.
1. Write a five to six (5-6) page paper in which you:
1. Describe the development of the student registration
project as a work breakdown structure of actions and
transitions among these actions.
2. Create an activity graph from the breakdown structure
using Microsoft Visio or its open source alternative, Dia.
