Imagine the CIO comes to your office and tells you that since you did
such an outstanding job on your previous assignment, he would like
your help with explaining requirements gathering. He confesses that
he is good with requirements gathering for operational systems but has
never had to gather requirements for a data warehouse. He asks you to
write him a report to explain the differences. In addition, he mentions
that he has read that joint application development (JAD) is a
development methodology that could be used to rally stakeholders and
that it would be a good fit for the company’s development effort. He
asks you to include, in your report, relevant information relating to
JAD.
