EVENT GIANYAR CULINARY FESTIVAL 2014 ianyar Culinary Festival (GCF) is an annual festival dedicated to celebrate the 234th anniversary of Gianyar and was held on 19th – 22nd of April 2014. The festival is a vehicle for meeting forum for the Practitioner, Professional Chef, Culinary Lovers, Horticulture Expert, Livestock experts, Entrepreneurs, Hotelier, Community Farmers, and Students as well as general public within the framework of cross-border dialogue and understanding based on the development and expansion of knowledge about green and horticultural products. The vision of this festival is to make the Gianyar G 86 www.ciousmagz.com district who care about green and horticultural products are packaged in culinary offerings. The series of the festival program will involve all of the Districts in Gianyar with native culinary competitions such as: Babi Guling, and Lawar Betutu Chicken, Jaje Bali, and Sate Lilit. This year Gianyar also invited a judge for Indonesian Museum of records to count the most sate lilit in the world. One of the key events that would like raised at the festival is the flower buds as maketh Gianyar icon that symbolizes loyalty and authority initiated by the Government of Gianyar, communities, and organizations.
