“Yeah? Come in, just correcting some essays.”

Turns off Netflix.

“Sorry for disturbing you Conor.”

“Ah no, you’re grand. What, ehm, what can I do for you Mr Smythe?”

“Right, film, yeah? You like teaching film, right?”

“Suppose.”

“How?”

“Huh?”

“How do you teach it? I mean I know film, I like films, but, like, how does it fit into English? Where do I start? Like drama? Like I do with plays? How do I make it like normal English?”

“Normal?”

“Yeah. Like the real stuff. Like grammar, poetry, literature. The serious stuff.”
