Shorts in Short
Submissions are now open via Film Freeway for the Richard Harris International Film Festival, which will be held in Limerick in October.
The IFTA-Affiliated International Film Festival screened more than 100 short films in 2017 and introduced the Live Streamed Gala Awards Show and Afterparty.
The 2018 festival will be a 5 day event over the Bank Holiday weekend October 25th – 29th 2018.

In 2014, RHIFF introduced "The Richard Harris Creative Talent Award", in order to acknowledge individuals of Irish extraction - both emerging and established - making a significant contribution to the world of film.
The festival iscurrently the only Film Festival in Ireland which specifically encourages Irish Filmmakers abroad to return and showcase their work.

IndieCork Film Festival has opened its submissions for the 2018 festival, which will be held in Cork
IndieCork is an International festival celebrating independent filmmaking with a special commitment to the short film. It is the largest festival for short film in Ireland.
Films must be Cork premieres please.
Any screenings in Ireland before IndieCork, must be listed on the entry form, so that we are aware of the screening history of your film in Ireland.
The festival welcome short films, documentaries and independent features. All genres are welcome including animation and experimental films.
Films of all lengths are welcome. For the purposes of the Short Film Competitions, only films of 30 minutes or under are eligible for competition.
IndieCork is structured as a co-operative and has an open membership of people committed to the possibilities of cinema. From the beginning Palm d'Or winner, Ken Loach, has been Honorary Patron.
