Ward joined Revolution360 in 2014 as senior account manager and in her new role will be responsible for running the events and experiential teams for Revolution360 across the Asia-Pacific region with offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Singapore and Jakarta. Langham Hospitality Group has appointed Stefan Leser as chief executive officer. Based in Hong Kong, he will oversee all aspects of the group’s global portfolio of hotels, resorts and residences. He was most recently at Jumeirah International where he was the group chief executive officer and a member of the board of directors. INVNT Sydney has appointed Laura Roberts as managing director, to drive the agency’s growth and development throughout the APAC region. With decades of events experience, Laura has worked all over the world, across multiple sectors for a wide range of multi-national brands. Philip Logan is the new general manager at Sofitel Sydney Wentworth. He returns to Australia from London Canary Wharf and brings over 30 years of hotelier experience, 20 years of which were with AccorHotels across Europe and Asia. Perth Convention Bureau (PCB) has appointed Nicolle Davey (pictured) as executive director stakeholder relations replacing Tracey Cinavas-Prosser who is moving on to a new role as CEO of Experience Perth. Davey’s most recent role prior to joining PCB in 2017 was with the Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre. Destination NSW has appointed Pascal Reiling, as business development and partnership marketing manager for Germany and France based in Frankfurt. He brings seven years’ experience having held senior marketing roles with Tourism Ireland, the National Tourism Organisation of Serbia and Reunion Island Tourist Board. Djabugay descendant Shirley Hollingsworth has been appointed as general manager at Tjapukai. She joined Tjapukai as a casual junior retail assistant in 1997 and over the past two decades has worked in all aspects of the business. Minor Hotels has appointed Craig Hooley as the new chief operating officer of Oaks Hotels & Resorts and AVANI Hotels & Resorts (Australia and New Zealand). Prior to joining Minor Hotels, he held was general manager of the Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney. Crowne Plaza Queenstown has appointed Juan Gomez as F&B manager. Joining InterContinental Hotels Group in 2012, he has spent the last five years working in InterContinental Wellington’s Lobby Lounge. Radisson Hotel Group has appointed Saurabh Prakash as vice president, commercial, Asia Pacific. Based in Singapore, he brings over 15-years of experience, mainly with Marriott International. Prior to this role, he was with TSA Solutions. ChristchurchNZ has appointed Loren Heaphy as general manager of destination and attraction. She was most recently special projects event development manager for Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development. Grand Hyatt Melbourne has appointed Lana Matafonov as its new PR and communications manager.
