Colour me Indigo IHG’s global boutique brand Indigo is heading to Sydney’s CBD with the signing of Hotel Indigo Sydney Central. The new property will mark the third Indigo hotel in Australia when it opens in 2021. The 168-room hotel will offer a restaurant, café and bar, five suites, rooftop terraces for meetings and events with views over the city, and a gymnasium. TRYP number two for Australia A second TRYP by Wyndham property is headed this way with TRYP North Lakesto to open in the Moreton Bay region in 2021. The 138-room TRYP North Lakes will be part of the $250 million, 1.7 hectare Laguna North Lakes development. Novotel Melbourne South Wharf The Lost Camel returns to Ayers Rock Resort   Hyatt Centric expands in Australia Novotel Melbourne South Wharf has opened in a $150 million ‘golden tower’. Rising 26 storeys, the hotel comprises 347 guestrooms and suites and is situated directly adjacent the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. The Lost Camel hotel originally opened at Ayers Rock in 2002, closing to become staff housing in 2012, and has now once again been re-invigorated to provide contemporary studio-style rooms. It enjoys a central swimming pool and is located adjacent the Resort Town Square giving guests a wide variety of dining options. A new Hyatt Centric hotel is set to open in Melbourne in 2020.
