In fact, Holly May has packed a lot into the last year, including a Boston audition for the popular NBC-Television show The Voice, filming a video for a song written just for her, (that has gotten over a million YouTube hits) filmed yet another video for her second single titled “I’ve Been On The Run” and also recently signed a record deal... Whew! But don’t let me get a head of myself here… let’s go back a bit. Growing up in Charlemont, Massachusetts, a small town in the Massachusetts Berkshire Mountains, Holly was first exposed to singing and performing at an early age through participating in talent shows, at church functions and school sporting events. “I’ve always sang songs for fun since I was around three years old,” Holly May said in a recent interview for Cider. “My first singing appearance, that I can remember, was at First Baptist Church in Colrain, Massachusetts. I was a member of that church when I was young and I remember singing a song called ‘Shout to the Lord.’ After that, I started learning a new song nearly every day and sing everywhere I went. My family isn’t really musical in the sense of performing or playing an instrument, but they have influenced me greatly because they enjoy all genres of music and of course, always help and encourage what I do as a musician.” As her talents became more apparent, Holly May began Holly Mae Brown performing more and more. It was at the Valley Idol Jr. competition where Holly May would meet Enoch Jensen, a judge at the competition who became very impressed with her vocal talents. So much so, in fact, that Jensen would become Holly May’s manager. Holly also went to school with Jensen’s daughter, 16year-old singer/ 6??ww&?FW"V???V?6V??v???6??W7B6??V?V@?F?w&?FR6??rv?F????????????B?&V6?&FVB?7B??fV?&W"?F?P?f?&V?V?F???VB( ?v?&?r?"v?????^( ??26??6R&VV??7FVB???UGV&R?6????rW?fW"??????f?Ww2??( ?F?R6??r( ?v?&?r?"v????^( ??v2w&?GFV?'??g&?V?B?Bf?&?W ?6?76?FR?V??v??6RFB?2??p????vW"???B&VV???G&?GV6V@?F?V??6??V?6V?B??6?F?V?@?6??WF?F????BF?V??FW"??#"???R?B6VV???r?V6??( ?Bw&?v?0??'F?7B?Bv2??FW&W7FVB??v?&???rv?F??R?vR&Vv?&V6?&F??r( ?v??&?r?"v????^( ?B??2V7F??P?&V6?&F??r7GVF???6?V?'W&?Rf??2??????B6???gFW"?vRf???VBF?P?f?FV??v?F?V??V?f?FV?&?GV7F???2??v??6??2F??RvV????UGV&R?( ?v?F????V?GV?'V??F??r???V?6V?7F'FVBF?R6V&6?f?"?&V6?&BFV??B&Vv?v?&???rv?F??6???&V6?&F??rw&?W&6VB????'v??5B?6????2gV???6W'f?6R?&V??FVF?6FVBF?'&V???r?Wr'F?7G2?@?( ????vW"&V6?VB?WBF?6????v?F??( ?v?&?r?"v????^( ?6??v?P??B6???gFW"?vR?WBv?F?F?V? ???vV?V?B?B6?v?VB??R?V ?FV??( ???????6?B?( ?6?VFRf????B6????2?6?v?&?VB?WBFV??v?F?7?F?g?f?"v?&?Gv?FRF?7G&?'WF????F?&?Vv?F?V?"????R?W6?27G&V??p?6W'f?6R?( ????&R&V6V?F????????&Vv??&V6?&F??r6??w2??6WFV?&W"F?&R&V?V6VB2?U?FW"F??2???F??v???P??6?V&??r??f?FV?6???Bv?F??6?V?G'??B?6?f???R&V6?&F??r'F?7@??&?7F?vV?V66??v???W7B6??V?2F??&R????( ?2g&?V?B?Bf?&?W"?W6?2&?f??g&??7BF?V?B6??WF?F???2??( ?&V6V?F??BF?R??'GV??G?F???VBF??6?f???R?Bv?&?v?F??&?7F??F?V?&V6?&B??Wr6??r?( ?( ?fR&VV????F?R'V??( ?B67F?R&V6?&F??r7GVF?????FV??W76VR?F?RfW'?7GVF??v?W&R'&@??6?W??2&V6?&FVB??2?'V?2?F?P?f?FV?f?"F?R6??rv26??BBF?ffW&V?B??6F???2??F?Rv?F??6?f???R?Bv????&R&V?V6VB6????( ?&WGG??VG?7GVfbf?"?b?V"???Bg&??6???F?v???F?R&W&?6??&R??V?F??2?v???2?WfW"F?V??f?6??W76?????W"?fR????rv?F?F?RW6???r&V?V6R?`??W"FV'WBU?????v????6?&RwVW7B?V&??rB6??R&V6??w2????fV?&W ?v?F?&?G?6?F??B??2&?B?b?W''???V????6?VF??r??b?#2BF?R'G2&??6????w&VV?f?V?B??????b?#rBF?R???P?????F?VG&R??v?B6?V"???7FVB????@???b?#?BF?RfV?VR??'W&??wF???gB???V&???&R&?WB???????B?W"W6???r6??w2?BU&V?V6R'?f?6?F??p??W"f6V&???vRBf6V&????6????????????
